I was told about Upper Hand Chiropractic from a friend at work. She had ranted and raved about him for the past few weeks. I’m on my feet a lot at work and my knees and bottom of my feet have been bothering me lately. So, I figured I’d give it a try. Dr. Jon knew the problem immediately. He suggested custom orthotics because I have flat feet. He explained in detail about how my foundation was the issue. He even suggested trying a cheap pair from Walmart that may help instead of selling me an expensive pair he supplies. Between his knowledge, compassion and honesty, he is definitely my first choice for any future aches and pains. Btw, the cheap pair worked and my pain is gone.

I have suffered from knee pain for about 10 years (my PCP had no answer except Ibuprofen) and finally two years ago I gave up on running because it wasn’t worth the pain anymore.  I went to see Dr. Dehors and after the first visit I was in less pain and after the fourth visit I was virtually pain free. He fitted me for orthotics and now I am completely pain free!  I even went for a run last week. Very nice office, professional Dr., and I will be back to see him for maintenance visits!!!!

I was very skeptical of chiropractic before seeing Dr. Jon. I’ve had right shoulder pain for a few years now and was diagnosed with a rotator cuff tear 2 years ago and have been to physical therapy, tried cortisone shots, and an orthopedist suggested surgery. I don’t want surgery and nothing else has gotten rid of my pain, so I finally got talked into going to a chiropractor. Dr. Jon was quite knowledgeable on my shoulder condition and explained in greater detail what was going on. He started treatment the first day. I was definitely a little sore the couple days following, but couldn’t believe the difference. My shoulder finally felt better. I have been seeing Dr. Jon for 3 weeks now and I am pain free. I still have more work to do on my own, but now there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you!

I had back pain that would not go away with stretching exercises and pain medication. My family doctor suggested physical therapy and massage therapy but the cost was going to be high. Dr. Dehors combined the work of chiropractor, massage therapist, physical therapist, and stretching exercise coach into one.  Am so grateful to find relief in a more affordable fashion. He takes the time needed to figure out the problem and customize treatment to your needs…all with a smile.

I’ve had lower back pain and sciatica (shooting pain down my leg and numbness) off and on for a couple years now with only some relief with medication, physical therapy and other chiropractors. After only the first treatment with Dr. Dehors, I felt so much better. I had less back pain and my sciatica didn’t bother me for 3 days. This was unheard of for me. He performed deep tissue massage, chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy exercises all on the first visit. I have been to other chiropractors in the area and I have to say Dr. Dehors is by far the best I’ve seen!!!

Being a school bus driver, I had severe lower back and shoulder pain which really made my job difficult. I was speaking with one of the students moms and she recommended that I see Dr. Dehors. I had been to several chiropractors in the Syracuse area and was not enthusiastic about seeing another one. The lady kept insisting that Dr. Dehors is different and I really should give him a try. I had nothing to lose at this point, my pain was not letting up. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Dehors and after the exam, he used an instrument on my shoulder. What really amazed me was that when Dr. Dehors was touching areas of my back, he knew exactly what hurt. I left there with still a little pain. I figured that the next day it will be back again, with a vengeance—I truly cannot believe that my shoulder pain was gone, 100% and my back pain was much less. On my second visit, Dr. Dehors gave me a few exercises to do and since then, I truly am pain free. I asked Dr. Dehors how he was able to help me while the other 4 chiropractors that I had been to were not successful, he said “that he has a lot of respect for chiropractors, but most of them went to school 15-20 years ago. There have been many advances in the chiropractic field and unless they go back to school and come up to speed, you will only be getting what they were taught. In essence, in 1995 they had dial up, 2012 you can get 50M cable internet. With the relief Dr. Dehors has given me, I can honestly say he is the Best Chiropractor in Syracuse.

I would highly recommend Dr. Dehors for any pain management needs. I have been in constant pain for over 5 years now, going from Doctor to Doctor with no results. I was referred by a friend to try Dr. Dehors. From my first apt I felt relief immediately, and my pain has decreased with each visit, allowing me to return to the activities I love & living a pain free lifestyle.

My 9 year old was complaining of headaches almost everyday. It was to the point where the school requested I bring in medicine so they could give it to him to address his headaches.  After only 4 visits with Dr. Dehors, he experienced significantly fewer headaches, and those he still has are less severe.

The individual attention this doctor gives each patient places him a notch above other specialists in his field. He believes that since the muscles and bones are connected, it’s silly to treat one without treating the other. (ok, “silly” is my word, not his). In addition to treating my son’s muscles, Dr. Dehors gave us stretching and strengthening exercises to do at home. The more closely we follow his instructions, the better my son feels. As a parent, it is such a relief to know there is something besides pain medicine that makes my son’s headaches go away.

Excellent chiropractor! First time in years that I haven’t been in pain. Initially, I was skeptical about seeing another chiropractor as I have tried many in the past, but I am so glad that I did. Dr Dehors does more than just cracking my back. He worked on my muscles, adjusted and gave me exercises. Highly recommend Dr. Dehors!!

Terrific chiropractor!  I went to Dr Dehors for some issues with my back and arms and he has helped me tremendously.  He takes the time to explain the probable causes of the pain you’re feeling, the treatments he’s going to use and how it will be effective.   He utilizes deep tissue therapies along with the traditional adjustments for a very effective result.  Dr Dehors is very caring and talented and would certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic chiropractor.

I began seeing Dr. Dehors because I had neck pain and numbness and tingling in my right arm. My medical doctor scheduled me with an orthopedist that I had to wait 2 months to see. I wanted relief now and the muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatories weren’t really helping. So, I was recommended by a friend to go to Upper Hand Chiropractic and give it a try. I have to say it was not what I expected. Dr. Dehors spent time with me to figure out what was wrong and began treatment that same day. He was professional and very knowledgeable. He explained everything and made sure I was comfortable before proceeding. The next day I felt 50% better. The numbness was less frequent and the pain was much better. I was absolutely amazed. It’s been only 3 weeks and I’m practically pain free. I will be canceling the orthopedist appointment. Thank you Dr. Dehors!!!
